He is also a professor at the School of Civil Engineering and Transportation (SCUT), Secretary General of the ICGdR Division, and a young editorial board member of 10 journals. His main research areas include the dynamic effects of rock mass structures, rock mass dynamic catastrophic damage, geological disaster monitoring and early warning, prevention and control, and intelligent construction of underground engineering. Researcher Wen NieState Key Laboratory of Safety and Health for Metal Mines,ChinaProfile: As a researcher for the State Key Laboratory of Safety and Health for Metal Mines, Wen Nie holds a PhD from the Technical University of Munich, Germany. Embracing extensive overseas study and work experience, he has dedicated himself to the research and development of intelligent mines, geological disaster prediction and early warning, and related intelligent equipment. He has presided over the General Project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the International Key Program, Subtopics of the 14th Five-Year National Key Research and Development Program of China, Key Projects of the Academician Consultation of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Major Scientific and Technological Special Projects of Anhui Province, and projects entrusted by well-known enterprises, etc. He has published more than 40 SCI-indexed innovative papers and over 20 EI-retrieved papers, securing more than 20 national invention patents.
